As part of Anti-bullying week, around 400 pairs of odd socks danced their way into the hallways of Forest to celebrate uniqueness and individuality. We wanted to show the world that it’s okay to be different – oh, and to give Mams a break from having to pair all their kids socks together after a spin in’ washer!
As well as arriving to school in a pair of odd socks, each pupil was given the opportunity to design their own ‘odd sock’ with someone they wouldn’t usually work with! What’s that?! Sounds like brand new shiny friendships!! Mrs Pierce and Mrs Wathen then had the thrilling task of choosing their favourite designs to place around Forest’s already decorative corridors!
